| USAF Negative Number: 79331 AC NASM Videodisc Number: 4A?26342 AIRPLANES: SINGLE, DOUGLAS An Air Force evacuation plane takes off from an advanced airstrip in Korea, as an Army "twin forty" mobile gun stands guard at the north end of the runway. This Combat Cargo C?47 will be within range of enemy small arms fire before it can swing toward its destination to the south. Chinese Communists forces were at one time within three miles of this spot, necessitating special briefings for pilots, so they might land their aircraft with a minimum of danger from enemy fire.
